Marina Navegar
FAQs
Questions? We've got the answers—but in the end, it's up to you to be a Viking and GO 💪
Vikingos is a club náutico on the Peñol-Guatapé reservoir offering wakeboard, water ski, kneeboard, tubing and private reservoir tours. Boat, pilot, instructor and all equipment are included, and no previous experience is needed.
We operate from Marina Navegar on the Guatapé reservoir, in Antioquia, Colombia, a few minutes from the town centre and the malecón. Look for the Viking-branded setup near the main dock, or message us and we will send the exact pin.
On the Guatapé reservoir you can wakeboard, water ski, kneeboard, ride the towable tube, or take a private boat tour past the Peñón and the flooded old town. Everything runs from our dock at Marina Navegar.
No experience is required for any of our water sports. An instructor rides with you, adjusts the boat to your level and coaches you through the start. Most first-timers are up and riding within their first session.
Book directly through this website, or message us on WhatsApp and we will confirm availability, time and meeting point the same day. Weekends and holidays fill up, so reserve ahead in high season.
Sessions start at 400.000 COP per hour for the whole boat rather than per person, so a group of eight pays the same as a couple. That covers the boat, the pilot, the equipment, life jackets and instruction.
We are open daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Early morning is the best time on the reservoir, when the water is flattest and there is least boat traffic, which suits wakeboard and water ski especially.
Swimwear, a towel, dry clothes, sunscreen and a light jacket for the wind on the way back. We supply the boards, skis, tube, life jackets and everything else the activity needs.
Every participant wears a life jacket, a certified pilot and instructor are on board for every session, and accident insurance is included. Minimum age is 5 for tubing and 6 for the towed board sports.
Weather in Guatapé changes fast, so we reschedule at no cost if thunderstorms or high winds make the reservoir unsafe. Full refunds apply on cancellations made more than 72 hours ahead.
